Types of CNC Machine Tools for CNC Turning-milling Compound Machining


CNC lathe is mainly used for turning, boring, drilling, reaming, tapping and other processes of rotating parts. Generally, it can automatically complete the cutting of inner and outer cylindrical, conical, spherical, cylindrical threads, grooves and end surfaces.

Modern NC lathes have the functions of X and Z axis linkage, tool position and tool tip arc radius compensation, and processing fixed cycle.

1. CNC lathe

Besides general turning, it can also carry out radial and axial milling, surface milling, drilling of holes whose centerline is not in the center of rotation of parts and radial holes.

Hydraulic chuck and hydraulic tailstock

Hydraulic chuck is an important accessory for clamping workpiece in NC turning. It can be used for general rotary parts; special chuck is needed for parts that are not cylindrical in clamping position; spring chuck is needed for parts directly processed with bar material.
